What you need to know before eating at the best cafes in Seminyak

Here are a few additional tips for eating at the best cafes in Seminyak:
- Seminyak cafes serve western food mostly influenced by Australian cuisine, and many of them are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Where to eat in Seminyak: 8 best cafes in Seminyak
There are many excellent cafes in Seminyak, but I like the ones below. Every time I go back to Bali, I will go back to these cafes because I love their food and the atmosphere of the cafes.
If you stay in Seminyak, you can probably walk to most of these cafes. But if it’s too hot (which most likely it will be), hop on a scooter or order a cheap Go-jek bike or car ride.
Here are my suggestions for the 8 best cafes in Seminyak.
1. Sisterfields Cafe
Sisterfields Cafe has to be the best cafe in Seminyak. I’ve been going to Sisterfields for a few years, and they never disappoint. And many people know about the popular cafe – there is always a long queue, and the restaurant is always full.
The modern Australian cafe serves the most appetizing brunch food. Just look at the photos above! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. And there isn’t anything I don’t like. It is my go-to cafe in Seminyak Bali!
The Australian cafe also serves yummy sandwiches and a delicious burger with onion rings.
And for some reason or another, I find that everyone who goes to Sisterfields is really good-looking. Don’t believe me? Go to Sisterfields and check it out yourself! Ha!

Address: Jalan Kayu Cendana, No. 7 | Hours: 9am-4:30pm
2. Nook
I love eating at Nook! I went several times because their food was delicious, and the price was right. I especially enjoy the restaurant because of the view. All the tables in the cafe face lush green rice fields. It is one of the most relaxing cafes in Seminyak.
The casual cafe serves several classic traditional Indonesian cuisine. I tried their nasi campur and it was really good. The option is quite big, so order it if you are hungry.
Besides traditional Indonesian food, you can find sandwiches, burgers, pasta and other western food on their menu. Plus, there are plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options too.

Address: Jalan Umalas, No. 3 | Hours: 8am-11pm
3. Shelter Cafe Bali
Another one of my favourites is the Shelter Cafe Bali in Seminyak. The cafe became so popular that it expanded in early 2019. The expansion included a retail store selling home decor on the ground level just behind Nalu Bowl and additional seating in the cafe area.
Even though the cafe is not exactly in the main area in Seminyak, it is still worth going. They have the best breakfast in Seminyak. I especially love the Big Bang breakfast plate and Weffy’s healthy bowl. And they have many types of fresh juices and vegan smoothies too!
Shelter Cafe is an excellent spot for breakfast and lunch. And also a great spot for working. I spent many afternoons working there because the food is good and the wifi is reliable.
The cafe setting is full of lush greenery with many hanging plants and different ferns all around the cafe. Look at the main photo of this blog, and you can see why I love this Seminyak cafe.
And if it is raining and you don’t feel like going out, check out Go-Food and order food delivery from Shelter Cafe.

Address: Jalan Drupadi, No. 2B | Hours: 8am-4pm
4. Titik Temu Coffee
At the busy main intersection of Jalan Kayu Aya and Jalan Kayu Cendana, you will find Titik Temu Coffee, a little cafe behind Uma Seminyak, and a row of boutique stores.
The main cafe has an indoor area with a large communal table and several smaller tables. This is the perfect spot if you are looking for a few hours of solid work.
For a casual atmosphere, have a latté on one of the beanbags on the lawn or on the cascading staircase on the cafe’s exterior.
Coffee in Bali is always good, and Titik Temu is no exception. They make a strong cappuccino! Try one of their cakes or the truffle french fries while you work there. They serve all-day breakfast, rice bowls, pasta, snacks and various pastries.

Address: Jalan Kayu Cendana, No. 1 | Hours: 9am-5pm
5. Pison Coffee
I really like Pison Coffee for its coffee and food. And I’m not the only one who thinks that. Many people go to Pison Coffee for their various western, Asian and Indonesian food options.
And many digital nomads go there to work. The upstairs space is quiet and usually full of people and laptops. Although it was a bit dark, I could finish a couple of hours of work. Not a bad place, with good food and excellent wifi.

Address: Jalan Petitenget, No. 19 | Hours: 8am-11pm
6. The Coffee Library
During the day, The Coffee Library is one of the best places to work in Seminyak. Even though the busy cafe is quite small, the staff doesn’t really mind that you are spending a few hours working. Order one of their specialty coffees to keep you caffeinated throughout the day.
And this Seminyak cafe is an excellent spot for dinner and drinks in the evening. They have a food menu with western and Asian food options. So grab a seat at the bench facing Jalan Kayu Aya, order a Bintang or wine and do some serious people-watching.

Address: Jalan Laksama Basangkasa, No. 50B | Hours: 8am-12am
7. Sea Circus Restaurant & Bar
Sea Circus is one of my all-time favourite cafes in Seminyak Bali! They’ve been around for 10 years!
The colourful cafe opens early for breakfast and stays open until late. So that means you can enjoy one of their delicious brekkie options or try any Mexican dishes throughout the day. If you have been travelling in Asia and miss good Mexican food, grab a few tacos at Sea Circus. Plus, they have an impressive list of cocktails!
And if you want to take photos for the gram, Sea Circus is the perfect spot! The colourful and Instagram-ready food matches its bright and cheery restaurant interior. There is no shortage of Instagrammable photo ops!

Address: Jalan Kayu Aya, No. 22 | Hours: 7:30am-10pm
8. Kynd Community
Kynd Community is a one-of-a-kind vegan cafe in Seminyak. Their 100% plant-based menu includes breakfast, waffles, burgers, salad bowls, burritos, ramen and pizza!
Plus, you would think you are in an Instagram dream! The cafe is well-designed and decorated in various hues of pink, and the food matches the interior. Like, c’mon!
And since the inception of the cafe in 2017, they also opened Give Cafe in Canggu, one of my go-to cafes in Canggu.
Moreover, Kynd Community also sells a range of sustainable products and cookbooks. You can even join the School of Kyndness where they teach you how to make plant-based meals at home.
Even if you cannot visit the most Instagrammable cafe in Seminyak, you can order their food via Go-Jek.
